Sending Together
"As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you:
as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

God the Father sent Jesus Christ, His Son, to save humanity. Jesus, in turn, sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.
God’s call to Abraham, the beginning of His work of salvation, also started with a commission: "Leave your country, your people, and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you" (Genesis 12:1). Likewise, Jesus, through the Great Commission, commanded His disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:18). Furthermore, the Holy Spirit sent the first missionaries, Paul and Barnabas, from the church in Antioch: "The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit" (Acts 13:4).
The Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—works together to send. Even today, God continues to send us to places where the Gospel is needed. With God's heart for commissioning, MMI commissions workers to the harvest fields where the laborers are few.

Sending Together is a united commissioning gathering held in the summer and winter, centered on Jesus' Great Commission. During this gathering, we gather to worship God, remember the calling of the Great Commission, and commission our brothers and sisters. This united commissioning aims to bring together any evangelical churches and believers who are committed to fulfilling the Lord’s command.

A Time of Sending and Blessing

Sending Together is a time for blessing and commissioning those who are called to spread the Gospel to the nations in obedience to his Great Commission. Through this gathering, all participants are reminded of God’s calling and essentially rededicate themselves to it. It is a blessed time where both those commissioning and those being commissioned unite in the love of Christ, working together to expand God’s Kingdom. Through Sending Together, participants experience the power of the Holy Spirit, learning how to stand firm in faith and move forward victoriously amidst the challenges of our time.

A Time of Fellowship
in the Spirit
Sending Together is also a time of fellowship and unity among brothers and sisters from various regions. Despite our different backgrounds, we gather as one in Christ, united by the vision of the Lord. We experience a vision community where our diverse gifts come together for good in Christ. The fellowship between participants is a time to recognize and celebrate the diversity within the body of Christ while discovering God’s work within it. Through this unity, participants learn how to love one another with the love of the Lord and seek the power of the Holy Spirit to carry out God’s will together.

A Time to Meet Coworkers and Serve the Unreached People Groups
At Sending Together, those who already have a heart for unreached people groups gather to worship, seek the Lord in prayer, and ask for God's heart for the nations. By His Spirit, we connect with others who, with willing hearts, are also ready to serve the nations. Together, we long to serve the Lord in unity, not by our own strength, but with the heart of Christ.
