Sending/Field Ministry
God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit command people of faith to go to the nations, even to the ends of the earth. God’s work moves forward through obedience to this tangible command.
We now live in an age where, due to advancements in transportation and other means, it is easier than ever to practically carry out the Great Commission. It’s possible to participate in short-term mission trips lasting just 1–2 weeks, or even take a one-year leave from work or school to serve on the mission field in a variety of team ministries, working together to fulfill the Lord’s will. For strategic and impactful short-term field work, it is crucial to have the cooperation of both long- and short-term workers who understand the local spiritual and physical context on the frontier field.
Through such ministry collaboration, we are living in a great missionary era unlike any before, an era in which the nations can be powerfully engaged with the Gospel.
In line with these changing times, MMI embraces the concept of total mobilization for missions, involving all believers in the Lord’s Great Commission. By forming diverse, organic teams on the field, we strive to fulfill the Lord’s purpose.
The prayer Jesus asked His disciples to pray 2,000 years ago, as He looked upon those wandering and suffering without a shepherd—“Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:36–38)—still holds true. The urgency is even greater today.
Below are various forms of commissioning ministries available through MMI. We invite any and all Christians who desire to participate in the Great Commission.MMI prays and sends out workers to unreached peoples, whose harvest is ripe, bearing the Lord’s heart. Below are the various forms of ministry MMI sends out. We invite all believers desiring to participate in the Lord’s Great Commission.
